My question is based on a hair transplant that wasn't successful.
I recieved a hair transplant at XXX hair restoration clinic and my hair never grew in the area and i followed all the directions carefully. Is their
any other solutions to bring back my hair.

I am sorry to hear your story with your bad hair transplant surgery. Like any other surgeries, hair transplant can be complicated and different hair transplant doctors have individual standards. However due to the nature of the procedure it is generally safe with a high success rate.

Headaches for weeks is extremely unusual. All patients have some pain on the donor area the first night after surgery that is easily controllable with pain medications and most patients don't even need pain medication for the first day after their hair transplant.

Hair wash is very important in reducing and minimizing the extent of scabbing. We offer hair wash for all patients the day after surgery and teach how to wash hair in the first few days after hair transplant. Washing should be done meticulously and frequently to clear up the scabs soon.

Loss of hair after hair transplant is called shock loss that used to be a big problem in the past, but now we do have medications that can prevent or significantly minimize it. I put all my male patients on finasteride for a few months after hair transplant to prevent shock loss.

I recommend that you see a good hair transplant surgeon and discuss the problem you had or have.

Good luck,

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN MY HAIR TRANSPLANT. FIRST OF ALL, IT WAS VERY PAINFUL. I HAD HEADACHES FORWEEKS. MY HEAD HAD SCABS FOR 2-3MONTHS. SO MUCH OF MY OWN HAIR FELL OUT DO TO TRAUMA AND I HAVE MANY SPOTS THAT WERE MISSED THAT EITHER THE GRAFT DIDN'T TAKE: MY OWN HAIR DIDN'T COME BACK OR THEY NEGLECTED TO PUT A GRAFT THERE. I SPENT ALOT OF MONEY FOR WHAT I WENT THROUGH AND FOR MY RESULTS! NOT HAPPY AT ALL I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR IF ANYONE ELSE HAD HAD SUCH AN EXPERIENCE. I ONLY HERE OF THE WONDERFUL RESULTS.
